Pumpkin Patch

Every year since Chad and I started dating we have taken the boys to the orchard/ Pumpkin patch during the month of October.  Sometimes we get pumpkins, other times we just enjoy the attractions.  However, we always have a great time.  This year we took Londyn to her first orchard.  She had a great time watching her brothers play in the haystack maze, Grayson ride a horse, and Mommy eat her carmel apple (a must every year).  I can't wait until next year when she can join in with her brothers.

Cousins

During my niece, Luna's, Birthday weekend we took some pictures of Londyn and Luna together.  Londyn didn't know what was happening and Luna was so interested in her.
Yes, our mom's put us in the same outfit.

Luna is just so excited to see Londyn and Londyn is maybe a little scared of her cousin.

Hey wait Luna that's my pacifier.

Taking a bath together, both girls love the water and enjoyed playing together in the bath.

I can't wait until Londyn is a little older and they can play together.  I hope they will be close and become friends, not just cousins.

King Children

Last weekend, we went to my parents house for the boys visit.  We had a great time and Londyn had lots of new things to look at, since she hadn't been to Nana and Papa's house yet.  Saturday, we went to the corvette museum in the morning and had a wonderful lunch at Mellow Mushroom.  Afterwards, we hit a few of our favorite places in Bowling Green, then Londyn met her Great-Grandma for the first time, we had dinner celebrating my and my dad's birthday.  The restaurant gave us homemade bread pudding to celebrate, it was so yummy.

Two Months- Lady Bug Day

Londyn is Two Months Old!!

This morning was a lot colder, so it felt like a lady bug kind of day!!!

Londyn is ready to have a great day.  Plus, she gets to go to Nana and Papa's house, where her brothers will be waiting to see her.  Then on Saturday, she will be meeting Great-Grandma Lois for the first time.  Have a Great Weekend Everyone!!

First Day of Daycare

Londyn is ready for her first day of daycare.  She was all smiles before Mom took her out to the car.  Now that she has been there for an entire week, she really seems to be enjoying the other kids and getting on to a schedule.
Thanks to Tricia the transition has been really easy for Londyn and Mommy and Daddy.

Cousin Luna Turns 1!!!

Luna turned 1 a couple weeks ago.  Londyn and I made the trip to Michigan by ourselves, it went well.  Then Chad drove up to meet us for Luna's party and our friends party.  We stayed with our friends, who were great helpers for me until Chad arrived.  Then we had Luna's party with lots of family from out of town.  Plus, our friends had a party so everyone could meet Londyn and my best friend Kate's new baby girl, Caroline.  Who would have thought that we would have baby girls 3 weeks apart in age when we met and became friends in 7th grade?

Meeting My Big Brothers

On August 20, Chad's parents had a party for the family to meet Londyn.  This was also the weekend Dax and Grayson were able to meet her for the first time.  They both were so good with her.  They wanted to hold and love on her all the time.  Plus, they were a great help when I was trying to get ready.  We talk to them on the phone almost daily and facetime, so they can see her changing and growing also.

First Bath

Londyn's first bath!
She enjoyed the entire thing.  She didn't cry at all.  It seemed she enjoyed being in the nice warm water.  She loves having her hair washed as well.  I can't wait to see if she loves swimming as much as her big brothers.

Londyn after the bath.  She is trying to stay awake now.

Londyn Madison King

 Londyn Madison King
Born- July 12, 2012
7lbs 10oz  22 inches

Londyn made her arrival into this world with a bang.  At 3:00am on July 11, 2012, my water broke.  After Chad worked all night and had just gotten home and I hadn't slept either because of being uncomfortable, we made our way to the hospital.  The doctors started the medicine to start my contractions.  After 12 hours of labor, Londyn's heart rate kept going up and down.  The doctors couldn't get it to recover like they wanted, so the decision was made to have a c-section.  At this point, I had some much medicine in me that I was very out of it and didn't really realize what was going on, which was for the best.  The doctors were wonderful, they got her out in just minutes.  Even though her cord was wrapped around her neck, she was perfect and just fine.  Two days later we were able to go home and continue to be doing great.

Baby Girl's Room

We just finished making the final touches to our baby girls room.  We have the theme of owls, but didn't want to go too overboard.  Like some of my friends have said, I hope she doesn't grow up to hating owls because of this.

Here is her crib with the cute flower lights we found at IKEA.  It's hard to see put the crib is already full of stuffed animals for her to love.

We decided to get a dresser to use as the changing table.  Plus we found the cute owl painting and butterfly prints to make it perfect.

Now we are just waiting for her to arrive and we can start using all of these things and the wonderful gifts we have received from Family and Friends.

Nervous!!!

What a crazy weekend we had!!  Chad and I attended a day long birthing class at the hospital.  I was very excited to learn and feel more prepared for the big day.  However, after 7 hours I left very nervous, overwhelmed, and NOT ready to give birth.  I guess its a little too late to be considering this.  I have started to calm down and realized that even though they talk about having a plan, you really can't plan for this.  How and when she comes is not up to me.  I just need to let go of my planning self and just focus on the excitement of meeting and seeing our beautiful baby girl.  After our meeting, I talked Chad into going to Target to finish getting a few things we needed from there.  This helped me take my mind off all the information we just had imbedded into our brains.

Sunday was a relaxing day of laundry, organization, and taking some time for me!!!  Haven't done that in a while!!

Changes!!!

I know that it has been forever since I last posted, but I am going to try and get on track again.  We have had lots of changes since my last post.
My Niece, Luna Anne Fischer, was born in August.  She has become a wonderful addition to our family. She is now almost 9 months old and starting to show her personality every moment.
Looks like she is going to have curly hair like her dad and aunt Laura.  Good thing I can help because all dad would do is cut it off.

Another big change in our household is we are expecting a baby girl towards the end of July, July 20 is my due date.  This pregnancy has gone pretty well, normal sickness at  the beginning and just feeling huge now.  With just two weeks left of school, I am looking forward to getting prepared for her arrival.  Both Chad and I can't wait to have a little girl, it will be different from the boys, but we can't wait.

Last weekend, my wonderful friends, sister-in-law, and mom threw me the best shower in the world.  They took the owl theme that we are doing in her bedroom and ran with it, they had owl cupcakes, owl decorations, owl thank you cards, and the cutest owl ornaments (thanks so much Lisa).  Not to mention the food; broccoli cheese soup, veggie pizza, kelly's wonderful salad, chicken salad sandwich, and fruit with dip.  Mmmm!!!

Amazingly, Kate (my best friend since middle school) and I are pregnant at the same time as well.  She is three weeks behind me, we will see how close or far away we actually deliver from each other soon.
More pictures to come of the shower, people, and gifts.
